COMPROMISO CON LA
SOSTENIBILIDAD Y
EL MEDIO AMBIENTE

In 2020 Fundación Teatro Joven joined the “Pacto Fundaciones por el Clima”, an initiative of the Spanish Association of Foundations of which the Foundation is an associate member, and of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation of which Fundación Teatro Joven is a global strategic partner.

In June 2021, the Foundation was selected to be part of the pilot program “Environmental Transformation in the Cultural Sector”, led by the Banco Santander Foundation in collaboration with Una Más Una, the STAGE collective and Julie's Bicycle. The objective of this program was to accompany the selected entities in the adoption of a sustainable cultural production model through training, environmental audits, advice and support.

As a result, the Foundation decided to embark on an ambitious project of ecological transition not only with the intention of reducing its environmental impact, but also with the aim of becoming a benchmark in the performing arts sector.
