Madrid-Getafe
The FOR/WITH/BY Festival of European Youth Theatre arrives in Spain for its fourth edition. After the 2018, 2021 and 2023 editions in the England, Madrid and Getafe will be the hosting cities for this festival organized by LaJoven (Fundación Teatro Joven) in which European companies specializing in working with young people participate, as well as others whose creative processes have engaged young people. Four days, three theatres, six performances, workshops and presentations with international artists and a lot of sharing.

WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS
In addition to the shows, each company will have the opportunity to exchange their work methodologies and new tools with the rest of the participants. There are two types of activities: conferences at the Goethe Institute and workshops, which will take place on Thursday, July 11 and Friday, July 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Young people from European companies will participate in these free workshops and they will also be open to young people who sign up. People who sign up will participate in the 4 workshops.

THE FESTIVAL
The For/With/By Festival of European Youth Theatre is a biannual Festival jointly produced by England and since 2024 Madrid. Fundación Teatro Joven is a founding member of the For/With/By consortium, which gave birth to the Festival in Birmingham in 2018. The Festival format is defined by these blocks of activities.

Performances: A total of 6 theatrical shows will be performed in the Festival theatres. The audiences are made up of the visiting international companies as well as the general public through invitations or tickets purchased at the box office. The performances will be followed by a discussion with members of the cast and creative teams.

Workshops for young people: Free theatre workshops for young people will be led by artists from international companies at the Federico García Lorca Theater in Getafe.

Seminars /Workshops: Open for everyone at the Goethe Institute in Madrid.
